A year ago this summer, Pateros and Methow Valley families and individuals were just starting to pick up the pieces after the Carlton Complex Fires had left thousands of acres and hundreds of homes burned. It was a devastating time for all of central Washington. Many fundraisers were held in an effort to aid the people who had lost so much.
